“Is your dream to create a boutique vineyard, lavender farm, olive grove or citrus orchard with the help of friends? Or do you have a better idea for 6-10 acres. I have 50 acres to share. I am looking for partners in building an Eco Village environment in the Goulburn Valley. It will be productive, creative and collaborative. It will require some money but more importantly vision and some tenacity. We already have a 40 square community building (in fact it is an historical home) offering temporary housing for your guests and a community environment for the partners. As well there is a wonderful 80 year old garden on two acres, plenty of trees, a swimming pool and potential for a range of other passive and active recreational activities. The gardens have been used for weddings, community functions and fund raising. The resources offer potential as a farmer’s market and museum/tea rooms. You will buy in as a shareholder, build your environmentally sound home/retreat (architect briefed) on one of the house pads identified close to the central gardens and establish your 6-10 acres as an agricultural activity. (You will need a simple business plan for this.) You will expect and offer support for the other partners (maximum of 6 shareholders) and build the agreed vision as a soft –business. (Economically viable but human and sustainable). Entry costs of $120,000 or thereabouts will entitle you to your share of the land. A further $30,000 per partner will be required to undertake the developments-$10,000 for the common land plus $20,000 for your project.
