Featured listings appear ahead of standard listings in search results to attract more attention and generally receive up to 3 times more views than a standard listing. WHAT DOES IT COST TO BUY A FEATURED LISTING?

Featured listings are available on the Platinum and Gold sale package. The benefits and costs do vary according to the listing type you want. Please visit the listing prices and packages page for details.

CAN I UPGRADE MY LISTING TO GET MORE ENQUIRIES?

Yes you can upgrade from our Silver to Gold listing at any time online. If you want to purchase a featured listing or upgrade from our Gold package to Platinum package we need to give you a personalised free quote (Effective 1 July 2014). Just use the webform on the contact us page for a free quote

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE MY PROPERTY IS POSTED ONTO TO THE WEBSITE?

Listings are usually posted within 24hrs subject to meeting our quality and content review

DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE LISTING IN ONE SESSION?

No! you can save the details on your listing by clicking on the 'Submit' button at any time and then come back later to complete your listing

WHERE DOES REAL ESTATE YOUR WAY ADVERTISE?

We advertise frequently on Google, the world's most popular search engine.

We also use social media such as Facebook and Twitter to spread the word.

Mainstream media such as commercial radio and TV advertising is also used so that you get maximum exposure for your listing.

Billboard and National Print media is also used from time to time.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO LIST MY HOME OR PROPERTY?

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY PROPERTY LISTING?

Payment is made using our secure online credit card system that uses the very latest security technology to protect your privacy and credit card details.

You will receive a payment verification email with all the details of your listing as soon as your payment is accepted.

HOW MUCH CAN I SAVE?

The only thing you are promoting when you pay for agent advertising is the real estate agent's brand!

CAN I BUY A FOR SALE SIGN?

A high visibility FOR SALE sign is availabe for purchase separately for $175 in GST please contact us for further details if you want to purchase a FOR SALE sign

CAN I STILL USE A REAL ESTATE AGENT?

Yes, if you want to throw money away! - but make sure that it is written in to your real estate agent agreement that you want your house listed on realestateyourway.com.au

CAN I EDIT MY LISTING AT ANY TIME?

Yes! you can edit your listing on real estate your way FREE at any time using your property profile manager - please follow the steps below

1.Login to your account

2. Select the property in the "My Properties" screen you want to edit

3. Look for the green cogs (tools) button at top right hand corner of the property

4. Select Edit from the drop down menu

5. Edit the listing and click on submit to save

6. To select a main image click the white box on the right hand side of the image you want to use as the main image

7. Click on submit to save

Please Note! as per our terms and conditions, any changes to your listing on partner websites need to be done by us and we will require written confirmation of the changes.

There is a $50 admin fee for making changes on partner websites as it all takes extra time and we need to cover our costs.

IS THERE ANY COST FOR MAKING CHANGES TO MY ADVERT?

There is no charge to make changes to your advert on real estate your way, however there is a $50 admin charge for making each change to your listing on partner websites

WHY DO I NEED TO PROVIDE A VENDOR LISTING AUTHORITY

A signed and dated vendor listing authority is required for all listings as part of our business quality assurance procedures

This helps to minimise the potential risk of fraudulent or unauthorised listings appearing on our website without legal authorisation of the property owner

CAN I ENTER AN OFFERS OVER PRICE?

Yes, you can enter an 'offers over price' but you must nominate an 'asking price' for your listing to show up in search results.

However please note from 1 January 2016 in NSW "Offers Over" is not permitted to be displayed on residential properties.  

CAN I ENTER A 'PRICE ON APPLICATION -POA'?

Yes you can hide the actual price you want by ticking the POA box.

But you must enter a price in the mandatory 'asking price field' in order for your listing to show up in search results.

If you select POA the price you enter in this field will not be displayed

WILL MY ADVERT BE PLACED AT THE TOP OF THE LIST?

All ads are listed in date order after they have been approved. Featured listings on partner websites can be purchased at an additional monthly cost and these appear ahead of standard listings subject to the type of featured listing that is purchased

CAN I PUT MY PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL ADDRESS IN THE ADVERT?

Yes you can put your contact details in your advert on real estate your way so that it is on display to the public but please consider the security aspects before you do this

However, vendor private numbers or email addresses are not permitted to be displayed on realestate.com.au

HOW LONG WILL MY ADVERT REMAIN ONLINE?

Your advert will remain online until it is sold or rented.

However we may send you a confirmation email after 3 months to ensure that your listing is still required.

This is part of our routine website maintenance activities. If you do receive a reconfirmation email and we don't hear back from you within 48 hrs your advert will be delisted.

CAN I PUT MORE THAN ONE PROPERTY ON MY LISTING?

No, you can list only one property on an advert

 

I CAN'T OPEN THE LINK IN THE ACCOUNT ACTIVATION EMAIL

I WANT TO LIST A COMMERCIAL PROPERTY - CAN DO I DO THAT?

Yes we also list commercial and industrial property for sale or rent /lease. But you must obtain an individual quote for these types of listings.

HOW DO I GET ALL THE LEGAL PAPERWORK AND TITLE TRANSFER DOCUMENTATION READY?

Your family solicitor or local conveyancing agent can quickly and easily handle all the paperwork for you and their prices are very modest compared to what you will pay if using an agent.

And don't forget, even if you do use a real estate agent you will still end up paying for your own legal costs -- so do yourself a favour and cut out the middle man!

HOW DO PEOPLE CONTACT ME TO ARRANGE AN INSPECTION TIME?

Every property listing has an enquire button. People will send you their contact details by email and then you ring them up to a make a suitable time. It's fast and easy to do and you don't have a real estate agent in the middle to complicate things.

WHO DOES THE 'OPEN FOR INSPECTION'?

You handle the enquiries and show people through the property yourself. It's your home so you know how to show off its best features.

It's really no different to walking visitors through your property who come to your house for a barbeque!

And here's one of the best bits (apart from the money you'll save!), you can make arrangements to suit your schedule rather than being locked in to something that doesn't suit your family or other circumstances. You can enter inspection times on your listing and change them at any time to suit your schedule. Please note that any changes you wish to make to inspection times on our partner websites will attract a small admin fee.

Once you have created and paid for your listing you can also create your own property flyers to give to interested buyers or distribute them in your local area

HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN I HAVE?

Each listing package specifies the number of photos for each package. Every property must have at least one photo or accurate image or drawing of the actual property

HOW DO I UPLOAD PHOTOS?

You can upload your photos using your own property profile manager. Please note! all photos must be in JPEG (.JPG) format and must be 2Mb maximum.

The ideal aspect ratio is 4:3 (for example 800px * 600px)

Also the pixel dimensions of the photos (height and width) should not exceed 1200px * 700px to ensure quick upload and good presentation

You may need to resize your photos to make them fit and the instructions on how to do this are usually found in your camera manual or you can simply go to the google website and enter 'how to resize photos' and you can get lots of help there

I AM NOT VERY GOOD WITH COMPUTERS HOW CAN I SELL MY PROPERTY ONLINE MYSELF?

Most people find our site very easy to use there are only 6 simple steps to follow. If you need help then usually a family member or friend will be able to help you. Or if you know a 12 year old kid then they will be able to do it for you - no worries!
